In FY2022, a comprehensive economic contribution analysis by Parker Philips, a leading consulting firm, revealed a staggering $8.4 billion impact on the state’s economy. This study underscores Minnesota State’s role as a robust economic hub, supporting 62,125 jobs statewide. 

Zooming in on Saint Paul College, the data showcases an annual regional impact of $279.1 million and 2,086 jobs. The analysis delves into direct spending, operational expenses, and the ripple effect on industry sectors supporting the College. Beyond financial contributions, the study quantifies tax revenues, estimating Saint Paul College’s contribution at $22.6 million for state and local governments. 

But the impact extends further. The study evaluates the long-term value of degrees awarded by Saint Paul College, projecting a remarkable $2 billion contribution to the economy over 40 years. This forward-looking perspective considers factors like foregone income during education and outmigration, illustrating the enduring positive influence of Saint Paul College alumni.
